He's a registered refugee. His wife gave birth two months ago. She along with the two month old BABY were picked up in a midnight raid. He is now going from center to center, police station to police station, and they're not telling him where his wife and 2 month old baby are.

This is gut wrenching - a woman wearing a kurta with "halwa" written on it in Arabic was almost lynched in Ichra, because people there felt blasphemed. Kudos to ASI Sheherbano for saving her life. This country is becoming a nightmare thanks to the deliberate creation and use of religious fanatics. The Faizabad Dharna judgment by the supreme court should have been given due importance. Fascinating that the woman is apologizing, and not the people who were about to lynch her before the police stepped in.

This is 4th attack of a transphobic vigilante group in Pakistan in the past 10 months. We heard about a gang of men going around beating transwomen with rods at night in Karachi last year. Since then a mob attack on Shahzadi Rai documented and posted, an acid attack on Bhumi, and now a gang has emerged in Islamabad going around and beating trans women. Link this with the brazen transphobia our elite spread online for brownie points and relevancy, because every single time this has happened within 72 hours of them posting incendiary and hateful videos.
