عملت وزارة الطاقة والمعادن على تخصيص مناطق امتياز تعدينية، تطرح للاستثمار للشركات المحلية والعالمية وفق أسس الشفافية وتكافؤ الفرص، للتنقيب والتعدين في الموارد المعدنية ذات الاولوية الوطنية، كما تم تخصيص عدد من المواقع العامة للشركات المحلية للخامات الصناعية بناء على دراسات مبدئية، بعيدة عن المناطق السكنية ومجاري الأودية.

As part of Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MEM) efforts to ensure transparency and equality of opportunities, MEM has allocated mining concession areas offered for investment to local and international firms for exploration and mining of national priority mineral resources. MEM has also allocated Public mining sites for industrial minerals based on the preliminary studies offered to local companies, away from residential areas and Wadi streams.
