Today marks 8 years since we lost the incomparable Carrie Fisher. Beyond her iconic role as Princess Leia, she was a beacon of strength, humor, and resilience. Carrie was a brilliant writer and a fearless advocate for mental health, using her own struggles to illuminate and inspire others. Her wit and wisdom touched countless lives, and her legacy continues to shine brightly in our hearts. Though she may no longer(and I still find it difficult to talk about her in the past tense) be with us in person, the impact she made on the world is everlasting.
