Canonist: "SSPX faithful NOT excommunicated!" If your priest is telling you that the SSPX priests and faithful are excommunicated, please remind him that Calumny is lying or spreading false rumors that harm someone's reputation. In Catholic moral theology, Calumny is a mortal sin. If Father is merely misinformed, please ask him to stop publicly talking about this issue until such time as he's been able to gain a better grasp of the facts.

Cardinal Delivers Exorcism Prayer in St. Peter’s Basilica: Something else happened yesterday at the Summorum Pontificum Traditional Latin Mass in the Basilica of St Peter (October 25, 2025) that strikes me as significant. Among the well-known prelates in attendance at the Latin Mass celebrated by His Eminence Raymond Cardinal Burke was the renowned exorcist, Cardinal Ernest Simoni Troshani, who at 97 years of age stood at the pulpit and positively thundered an Exorcism prayer composed by Pope Leo XIII back in 1890. Who is Cardinal Simoni Troshani? Cardinal Simoni is an Albanian cardinal, born October 18, 1928, who according to his entry in the College of Cardinals Report, spent “eighteen years in jail at the hands of Albanian communists.” After having completed his seminary study clandestinely, he was ordained a priest on April 7, 1956. But on Christmas Eve 1963, after celebrating an “illegal” public Mass, Simoni was arrested and imprisoned. Initially, he was sentenced to death for offering the Mass (the TLM at that time), but the sentence was later commuted to twenty-five years of hard labor. During his years of imprisonment, Simoni endured “torture and harsh conditions, including work in mines and sewage canals.” Far from being intimidated by the threat of torture, he secretly celebrated the Latin Mass from memory and heard the confessions of his fellow prisoners. After his release in 1981, according to the College of Cardinals Report, Cardinal Simoni was still considered an “enemy of the people” and was thus forced to work in the Shkodrë sewers. Nevertheless, he continued to exercise his priestly ministry clandestinely until the fall of the communist regime in 1990. Fast-forward to present day. This heroic priest – once sentenced to death for celebrating the Mass – took part in yesterday’s Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage. From the sanctuary of the Altar of the Chair, His Eminence delivered an exorcism prayer composed by Pope Leo XIII on May 18, 1890. The prayer was composed after Pope Leo had overheard a conversation between God and the Devil, just after offering Mass, in which the Devil bragged that he could destroy the Church in one hundred years. Fearful for souls and for the life of the Church of which Leo was visible head, the Holy Father composed the Exorcism prayer, which was recommended by the Church whenever any acts of the Devil are suspected. Here is an excerpt from the Exorcism Prayer prayed yesterday in St. Peter’s: “Beseech the God of Peace to crush Satan under our feet, that he may no more be able to hold men captive and to harm the Church. Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that the mercies of the Lord may quickly come to our aid, that thou mayest seize the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan. . . We cast you out, every unclean spirit, every satanic power, every onslaught of the infernal adversary, every legion, every diabolical group and sect, in the name and by the power of our Lord Jesus + Christ.” Momentous things are happening, friends. This is a war between God and Satan, and many have only recently begun to understand the scope of it. So let us join this Holy War with the tools and the armor of God’s soldiers. Keep offering prayers of reparation and petition, that God will protect us and Holy Mother Church against the fires of Hell. Especially on this great Feast of Christ the King, let us offer prayers of thanksgiving for the good shepherds—the generals in this army—whom God, in His Providence, has seen fit to grant us. The mere existence of such men proves, once again, that God has not abandoned His Church.

EXCOMMUNICATING the SSPX: The Vatican Is Bluffing . . . Again Of course, it sounds scary, but it's not. This is a spitting contest over technicalities of Canon Law. It wasn't serious in 1988 (which is why Pope Benedict lifted the "excommunications" for the SSPX bishops in 2009), and it's not serious now. Want proof? Watch this video all about how the Vatican's “great big scary” decree of excommunication fell apart the first time around -- way back in 1991.

The SSPX Episcopal Consecrations. Please pray for the four bishop-elects, the 500 priests, 200 seminarians and tens of thousands of SSPX faithful in attendance. No matter what you think of the Society, this event has historic implications for the Church.

I would like the Pope, James Martin, SJ and the rest of the synodal fathers and “mothers” to reflect on the scandal they’ve unleashed on the little ones who still bother to practice the Catholic Faith. This was my daughter’s first visit to the Basilica of St. Peter, and she was confronted, literally, by “F*ck the Rules.” How telling, since we have contended from the beginning of the synodal era that the endgame is indeed to “eff the rules” of God and nature by blessing and approving sodomitical relations. God help us all.

URGENT CALL FOR PRAYER! Bishop Rob Mutsaerts was just in a serious car crash on his way home from hearing confessions. He suffered a dislocated hip, fractured pelvis, and broken elbow. His Excellency was one of four courageous bishops who stood with Bishop Schneider at the 2025 CIC and led Catholics around the world via livestream in an Act of Reparation for the August 2025 LGBT pilgrimage into St. Peter's Basilica. Below is a clip from his 2025 CIC address. Please pray for the rapid and full recovery of this faithful shepherd!

Already the rumor of white smoke by noon on day one of the conclave has been dispelled. This could bode well for the outcome, as a tug-of-war is now engaged between the moderate/conservative blocks vs the liberal ones. Those in the position to know say that numerically, there’s enough of a block of conservative/moderates at this conclave to prevent the slam dunk election of a Francis II or worse. Time will tell. Keep praying!!

Ritual Humiliation Did you know that Father Marko Rupnik crap-art is still plastered all over the Papal Palace chapel in the Vatican? Rupnik is not excommunicated. He was, briefly, in May 2020 for using the confessional to absolve a woman with whom he had engaged in sexual activity—but the penalty was lifted the same month after he got caught and said he’s sorry. The lifting of that penalty pertained only to that specific 2020 offense, however, not the numerous accusations of spiritual, psychological, and sexual abuse against adult consecrated women that later came to light. The allegations are so credible that Rupnik was finally expelled even from the notorious Jesuits in June 2023 for refusing to comply with restrictions on his ministry. He embarrassed them, in other words. But this good friend of the late Pope Francis is not excommunicated, and his crap-art is still plastered all over two hundred prominent cathedrals, basilicas, and churches. Abuse survivors describe this as "ritual humiliation." But Father Rupnik, you see, is not SSPX…so the Vatican remains patient, pastoral, and merciful.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: Unite the SSPX & FSSP Clans So, are we going to let Cardinal Tucho -- "Heal me with your mouth, the art of kissing"- Fernandez blow us apart? I shot this video six years ago but, after today's "excommunication" decree from Cardinal Tucho, it seems appropriate to post it again. It is from 2019 and it was called: MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: Unite the SSPX & FSSP Clans. It's got a bit of history and also what is actually meant by "unite the clans." (HINT: It's probably not what you think.) At the end, I mention the Catholic Identity Conference and how that event strives to unite the clans. The CIC is coming up again (October 2, 3, & 4) and it will once again and please God, provide a great opportunity for us to reunite the clans. I will emcee the event, and I hope to see you there. Check out CatholicIdentityConference dot org In the meantime, for God's sake and the sake of your children, do not let Cardinal Tucho divide and conquer us.

You can see how the restoration of Chartres Cathedral is progressing. Because Notre Dame in Paris burned, the restoration was accelerated and it’s magnificent. In Chartres, they have been restoring the cathedral for the past eight years and it’s about halfway done. But you can see in this clip the dark stone as it was transformed over the past thousand years and how the cleaning and restoration process is making the interior brilliant and new again—preparing for the restoration of the faith itself… in God‘s good time.

Private Latin Masses allowed in France once again. Last year, over Pentecost weekend, private Traditional Latin Masses were forbidden in Paris and Chartres before and after the Notre Dame de Chretiente Pilgrimage to Chartres. This year, presumably because of Pope Leo XIV’s March 2026 message to the French Bishops' Conference, urging the bishops to in “charity and understanding” find "concrete solutions" and "generous inclusion" for Catholics attached to the Traditional Latin Mass, private Masses are again permitted in France on Pentecost weekend. This is the first Mass for The Remnant Tours 2026 Pilgrimage to Chartres. Our chaplain preached about Saint Rita of Cascia, whose feast is today, completely unaware that there is in this church a beautiful shrine and relic in honor of Saint Rita — patroness of impossible causes. Never give up hope!
