Heartbreaking: 23-year-old IDF Lieutenant Yaron Chitiz, from our community, came home last Shabbat to surprise his family after not being home for 80 days. Yesterday, he was killed in Gaza while defending the people of Israel from Hamas terrorists. The warm embrace he received upon his return last weekend now serves as a poignant last memory of him for his grieving family. Everyone misses you already, Yaron. Your memory and heroism will forever be a blessing. 🕯️
