I’ve seen a lot of comparisons between Ashby 2020 and Gary 2025, both before the event and after - I think it’s safe to say that Gary beats Ashby by quite a fair margin, both from the actual tornado to the meteorological setup itself (see the tornadoes that happened before Gary and further east into Minnesota) - as for myself though, I did a far better job forecasting and chasing Ashby - the anniversary isn’t too far away so here’s a video of Ashby - I so wish I had forecasted Gary better so I could’ve gotten better footage of it, but still unbelievably happy to have seen it -
