🚨 LIVE UPDATE FROM MADISON SQUARE GARDEN Security around the venue has expanded significantly. Here’s what I’m seeing on the ground: 🎪 Two massive privacy tents have now been set up. 🖤 Black privacy curtains now line West 31st Street, creating a shield between the street and the venue. 🚧 NYPD is closing off multiple surrounding streets, including sections around 31st Street and 33rd Street, with traffic restrictions extending toward Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Avenues. 🚔 Police officers, barricades, media crews, and fans continue to gather as preparations intensify.

Stepping directly onto the set of HBO's The Gilded Age in Manhattan today, and the production scale is absolutely mind-blowing. To completely transform modern New York City back to the 1880s, the crew laid down massive textured carpets over the asphalt to perfectly mimic historic stone streets. There are over 350 background actors fully dressed in period-accurate costumes, alongside dozens of real horse-drawn carriages filling the block. It is incredible to see how much physical craftsmanship goes into creating just a few moments of television magic.

🏆 Just a bunch of guys who happen to be NBA Champions. The Knicks stopped by the Today Show this morning, but instead of looking like a team carrying the weight of New York on their shoulders, they looked like a group of friends cracking jokes and enjoying every second of this championship run. I’ve lived in New York for years and I’ve never seen this before. ⚡️ The sky was completely dark, but the same spot kept flashing over and over again with no thunder that I could hear. My best guess is distant lightning from a storm far enough away that the thunder isn’t reaching the city, but I’ve honestly never watched it happen like this before. Does anyone know if that’s what we’re looking at, or is there another explanation? 👀

This might be the most adorable thing in Central Park 🦝🥹 I promised Mika that we’d go to Central Park and try to find raccoons, and somehow we hit the jackpot ❤️ Not only did we spot a mother raccoon peeking out of a tree, but two curious babies kept popping their heads out to see what was going on below 🥹🌳 Raccoons are mostly nocturnal, so seeing a mom and her babies like this felt extra special. One of those magical New York City moments we’ll be talking about for a long time 🦝✨
