There is no reason to have foreign women dancing in the official St Patrick's Day celebrations other than to tick a diversity box. Tourists don't visit Ireland for Paddy's Day to see foreign women dancing, they want to see Irish women dancing. It's ridiculous and we should all reject these attempts to transform our national holiday into a DEI festival.
