A Palestinian man broke through an Israeli installed gate to his house to allow an ambulance to reach his critically ill mother in Beit Ijza, northwest of Jerusalem. The only entrance to Sabri Gharib's family home is through the electronic gate, which is controlled by Israeli occupation forces, and has been broken for 2 days, with officials claiming a malfunction. Their home is surrounded by the illegal Kfironah Hadashah settlement, leaving them effectively prisoners in their own property.
