Baseball appreciation account. Some of my tweets are decent. It's okay to admire long home runs. And batflips are good for the game.

It’s absolutely unthinkable how this team went from being a coin-flip away from an ALCS appearance to the worst record in the American League in less than eight months.

A Cavaliers teammate slipping in James Harden’s sweat after flopping on another jump shot/foul-baiting attempt is the biggest piece of poetic justice I’ve ever seen LMAO 💀

We’re 11 games in, and I’m not sure if it’s a good or bad thing that Kevin McGonigle is already our best hitter.

Justin Verlander walks off the mound at Comerica Park for the final time. This is exactly where it was supposed to end. ❤️😭

This narrative really needs to die. His strikeout of Raleigh was his 99th pitch after sitting at 99-101MPH with his fastball for the entire game. The pen needed to get 9 outs and/or the offense needed to score more than two runs in FIFTEEN innings; it didn’t happen.

“Oh, we’re playing *this* ballgame today, huh?” - Josh Naylor, after getting intentionally hit by a pitch What a hypocrite, man. He’s aware he started this, right?

Nothing spectacular about this play, but I still find it hilarious how Javy Báez waited 12 years into his MLB career to say “So uhh, I can actually play centerfield too, guys.” The guy looks like a natural out there. 🤌

Kevin McGonigle will steal the highlight, but Javy Báez played such a huge role in today’s walkoff win. Covers over 110FT to track down this Teoscar Hernandez flyball to keep the go-ahead run off the board in the 9th, and then leads off the bottom half with a double. Gamer.

99 MPH on his 120th pitch of the game. We’ll really never see anyone like Justin Verlander ever again. May the baseball gods grant him one final moment this weekend. 💙🧡

Seriously, what’s the point of replay if we’re still getting blatant missed calls like this incorrect?
