🚨 BREAKING: Explosive Device Thrown at Christian Protest in NYC Let’s slow down and understand what just happened. A protest took place in Manhattan this weekend. Christians and others were gathered to push back against what they believe is the growing normalization of Islamic influence in the city. Then chaos broke out. Authorities say an improvised explosive device was thrown into the crowd. Not a firecracker. Not a smoke bomb. A real device. The NYPD confirmed it was capable of causing serious injury or death. Police say the bomb was a jar packed with nuts, bolts, screws and a fuse, designed to act as shrapnel if it detonated. Two suspects were arrested and the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is now involved in the investigation. And here’s the part that should disturb every believer. Instead of clearly condemning the people responsible, the mayor immediately framed the entire situation around condemning the protest itself, calling it hateful and racist. A bomb was thrown. And the outrage was redirected. This is the moment we’re living in. Christians cannot afford to be asleep anymore. The early church didn’t grow in comfort. It grew in pressure. Acts says “they turned the world upside down.” If believers in America retreat into silence, the culture will keep moving in one direction. But if the church wakes up… prays… speaks truth… and refuses to be intimidated… God has always moved through a people who refuse to bow.
