‼️🚨🔵 PRESSER 🔵🚨‼️ 🎙 Xabi Alonso’s Full Post-Brighton Press Conference 🌀 Reporter: Nine goals scored this week, five conceded and three wins. Did you enjoy today? 😅 Alonso 🗣️: “In the end, I enjoyed all the wins a lot. But again, there were different moments and different feelings. Ultimately, we’re happy with the result. “We value this win a lot against a very good opponent — one that has been tough for us in recent years. “There were moments when we did really well and other moments that showed this is still a process. We’re continuing to learn about ourselves and improve. Normally, it’s easier to do that after a win.” 🌀 Reporter: What can you tell us about Moisés Caicedo? Was it the same problem or something new? 🇪🇨🚑 Alonso 🗣️: “Hopefully it’s nothing serious. It wasn’t something new and it wasn’t worse than last time. He was cautious enough to stop and say that the feeling wasn’t the best. “We need to assess him during the week.” 🌀 Reporter: Pedro Neto tapped the Chelsea badge after scoring. Can you guarantee he’ll still be here after the transfer deadline? 🔵👀 Alonso 🗣️: “You know, in football, I don’t guarantee anything about anyone. “But I was very happy with Pedro. He did really well and played with a lot of energy. He’s going to be very important for the team throughout the season because he has different, special qualities. “He’s a threat one-v-one, attacks space very well and is strong and competitive. I’m happy he scored. He was very close to scoring another one. I’m very happy with Pedro.” 🌀 Reporter: Chelsea had only 25% possession today after 38% against Fulham. Is this the type of transitional Chelsea you want? 📊 Alonso 🗣️: “No. For me, every piece of data needs context. “After 30 minutes, we were 3–0 up. Probably from that moment, we played too much with the result instead of continuing to play. “The data isn’t what’s important. What matters is how you play and what you can do better. My approach isn’t to say, ‘Today we need 60% possession or 20%.’ “I never talk about those things. It’s about how we prepare and how we become more competitive. “There were different moments in the game. There were periods when we did really, really well and other moments when we could have done better.” 🌀 Reporter: When you say Chelsea started ‘playing the result’ at 3–0, was that complacency? 🧠 Alonso 🗣️: “No. I would say it’s quite normal. It happens with many teams. “Teams that have worked together and played more games together usually have a better understanding of how to manage those moments. We are still in that process. “I’m sure that in the future we’ll manage those situations better. Even at 3–1 at half-time, I told the players: ‘Guys, a two-goal lead in the Premier League — we still need to focus on playing, scoring goals and defending well.’ “Afterwards, we could have scored a fifth. Many things happened during the game.” 🌀 Reporter: Emiliano Martínez went straight into the starting XI. Did you have any concerns throwing him straight in? 🧤🇦🇷 Alonso 🗣️: “With Emi, he’s 34 years old and has experience from all around. “I spoke with him yesterday. We talked about the game and about our team, and he felt ready. I don’t have to tell him many things for him to perform. “Of course, a goalkeeper always wants a clean sheet, but I’m happy with his first impact. He had only been in the building for 48 hours. “Now we’ll have the whole week to prepare for the next game. Day by day, we’ll feel his presence because he has that charisma and aura to influence and establish a very positive connection with the rest of the team.” 🌀 Reporter: And what happens with Robert Sánchez now that he wasn’t in the squad? 🔄 Alonso 🗣️: The supplied transcript does not contain a separate answer addressing Sánchez’s future. ‼️🚨🔵 PRESSER 🔵🚨‼️ 🎙️ Xabi Alonso ahead of Chelsea vs Luton — and there are a few interesting selection calls to watch. 👀 First, the injury news… 🌀 Caicedo & Palestra OUT 🚑 Neither will be available tomorrow. 🗣️ Xabi: “Not for tomorrow, both won’t make it [against Luton]. Let’s see, hopefully Moi could make it for the weekend, but we need to check a little bit more with Marco.” So Caicedo’s absence could be short-term. 🤞🏾 🌀 What about Cole Palmer? 🥶 Good news. 🗣️ Xabi: “Otherwise everyone from Monday is okay. Cole is absolutely fine.” ✅ Palmer available. 🌀 Could we finally see Mike Penders? 🧤👀 Xabi certainly left the door open: 🗣️ “Penders is part of the squad, so he has an opportunity.” But don’t expect Xabi to leak his XI. 😂 “We will decide and then I am giving the team tomorrow to the players, so I prefer to respect that they know first.” Fair enough, boss. 😅 🌀 And Enzo Fernández? 🇦🇷 He’s expected to feature. 🗣️ Xabi: “Enzo, yes, we expect him to be involved. He is training really well, he’s a good professional, and he will be involved.” That makes Luton an interesting opportunity for some rotation while keeping enough senior quality on the pitch. 🔄 🏆 Carabao Cup 🔵 Chelsea 🆚 Luton Town 📅 Thursday, 27 August ⏰ 18:30 Who do you want Xabi to start tomorrow — and would you give Penders the gloves? 🧤👇🏾 #CFC | #Chelsea | #CHELUT | #CarabaoCup

‼️🚨🔵 PRESSER 🔵🚨‼️ 🎙 Xabi Alonso’s Full Pre-Fulham Press Conference – Part 1/2 🌀 Xabi Alonso on Chelsea being ready 🔥 “We feel ready. We have prepared throughout the whole pre-season. The desire, ambition and hunger to start are already in the building.” 🌀 Xabi Alonso on João Pedro ⚡ “We talk a lot with João because he is not just a great player — he has a great personality. His development as a great player and as a leader is very noticeable in each game. He has this focus and desire to have a great season.” 🌀 Xabi Alonso on Enzo Fernández 🇦🇷 “Enzo is a Chelsea player. He’s a top, top player. He’s training really well. We are happy with him and he’s getting ready for Monday.” 🌀 Xabi Alonso on splitting the players into different groups 👥 “We are managing the group dynamics well. We have different groups and it has not been an issue.” 🌀 Xabi Alonso on Danny Welbeck training individually 🏥 “He can be involved. He needs a couple of days without training too much because of a little issue. We expect him to be back on Saturday.” 🌀 Xabi Alonso on whether the World Cup players need more time 🌍 “Let’s see. We will check and assess them. For sure, because of the World Cup, they might need a little bit more time. They are selectable for the line-up.” 🌀 Xabi Alonso on whether top four is the target 🎯 “The ambition is to be as high as possible. Let’s see where we are in May. We need the hunger to do well and create a good spirit.” 🌀 Xabi Alonso on his relationship with Arbeloa ⚔️ “You can have a relationship, but once we’re on the pitch, there are no friends and no past. We need to create that culture and it starts here, in the daily process at Cobham.” 🌀 Xabi on Chelsea’s squad potential ⚡ “The potential of the team and squad made me really excited. To find a squad to work with, create a football idea, bring excitement to the stadium and connect with the fans.” 🌀 Xabi’s message to Chelsea supporters 🤝 “We want to share the belief that good things will come if we are together and create this strength and power that the club has. The energy has to come from us, but together we can achieve great things.” 🌀 Xabi on building success 🧠 “Success is a consequence of good work, quality decisions and the good culture we want to build. That’s the beauty of such a complex but exciting process with so many people involved.” 🌀 Xabi on getting the best from everyone 🎯 “It’s always about getting the best out of everyone. Everyone must be committed to the final goal — being the best we can and giving our best. If we share that feeling every day, we can be optimistic about the future.” 🌀 Xabi on Stamford Bridge 🏟️ “I know the energy this stadium has. We need to create that energy and build that bond between all parts of the club.” 🌀 Xabi on what convinced him to join Chelsea 🔥 “The way this team has played and competed at the highest level not so long ago gave me assurance that the potential is there — because of the quality of the players and the football they have played. ‼️🚨🔵 PRESSER 🔵🚨‼️ 🎙 Liam Rosenior’s Full Pre-Arsenal Press Conference 🌀 Liam Rosenior on squad rotation & not having a “best XI” ⚙️ “I can’t speak for other managers in terms of myself. I don’t have a best XI. I never have done in all of the clubs that I’ve worked with. Why? Because of the demands — the physical demands of the Premier League, Ligue 1 or the Championship now with 46 games. You need a squad, and you need to use the players in the correct way to challenge over the course of the season. I’ve been here three and a half weeks, I’m still getting to know the players. I try to pick the right starting team, but I also try to pick a bench that gives us the right finishing team. So far, the substitutes in every game have made a huge impact. That’s not just tactical — a big part of that is mentality.” 🧠💪 🌀 Liam Rosenior on Estevão ❤️ “He is going through a really difficult time for personal reasons. I won’t put any pressure on him when he returns. It has to be right for him.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on facing Arsenal ⚔️ “The reality is Arsenal are favourites. They’re a goal up and they’re at home, so they’ll expect to go through. We need to take it as far and as deep as we can, then hopefully the second half of the tie will be massive in terms of turning it around.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on Jamie Gittens’ injury 🚑 “Jamie unfortunately felt his hamstring. I don’t yet know the extent of the injury. It’s a real shame because I wanted to give him a start and allow him to show what he can do. Hopefully it’s not too bad.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on Chelsea’s mentality in big games 🔥 “They can play in big games and they can perform in big games — and it is definitely a big game on Tuesday.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on focus & preparation 🧊 “Talking about what Arsenal or Mikel Arteta have or haven’t done isn’t my concern. My concern is resting and recovering. It’s another three-game week. It’s going to be a very physical game on Tuesday, and my job is to prepare the team as best I can.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on Arsenal’s recent nerves 😌 “We’ll see. We’ll see. We’ll go and play our game.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on experience within his squad 🏆 “When I look at my players — Enzo Fernandez has won a World Cup, and the group won two trophies last year. They can play in big games, they can perform in big games. Tuesday is definitely a big game.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on Enzo Fernández 🧠⚡ “He’s fit. You see him arriving in the box in the 92nd, 93rd minute. Enzo has a rare athleticism — a gift — where he recovers very quickly. His distances covered are top from a data point of view, and the quality and leadership he brings to the team is huge. I’m really enjoying working with him.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on Mamadou Sarr 🤝 “I don’t speak about players who are at other clubs. It’s something I’ve never done, and I won’t start today.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on pressure & proving himself 🎯 “I’ll be really honest — all this talk about proof of whether I’m right for the job or not, I don’t really care. I’m here to do the job. If we get to the final, it’s great for Chelsea Football Club. It’s not about me. I’ll prove in time whether I’m worthy or not, but it’s not at the forefront of my mind.”

‼️🚨🔵PRESSER🔵🚨‼️ 🎙 Enzo Maresca's Full Post-Arsenal Press Conference 🔹 Enzo Maresca on the draw: "Sometimes you can be happy with one point. 11v11 we were the better team, but the red card changed the dynamic." ⚖️🔴 🔹 Enzo Maresca on changes after the red card: "Man United game, the changes were because of how United attacked with five players. We are judged most of the time because of the result and we lost. Tonight, every time we do something is because we think it's the right thing to do. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The players were outstanding tonight." 👏🏽🔵 🔹 Enzo Maresca on if James can do that again on Wednesday: "No. The reality is no. Robert was very good. When you are with 10 players against Arsenal, you need special performances like Robert and Reece 💙. Reece… now we have a game on Wednesday but we need to manage him and control his situation a bit." ⚠️ 🔹 Enzo Maresca on if Hincapié should have been sent off for Chalobah incident: "Yeah, I think [it's a red card]. Moises' was a red card, but why was Bentancur's on Reece not a red card in Spurs away? 🤷🏽‍♂️ We struggle to understand. The reality is that it is a red card. I asked the referee and he said it was not an elbow. He has a black eye, with ice at half-time 👁️🧊, but they judge it differently." 🤦🏽‍♂️ 🔹 Enzo Maresca on title challengers: "I think, once again, sometimes I have to say the same. If we are where we are in February or March, then we're going to be going for the title 🏆. But you need to take it game by game. For sure, Arsenal, Barcelona, Liverpool, PSG — they give the players the confidence." 🔵🔥 #CFC | #Chelsea | #CHEARS | #Interviews 📲 CFC_ChelseaFC via Telegram 🎥 mightybluesnews via Youtube

🌀⚡️ BLUE IMPULSE 🧠🌀 IF NETO GOES, QUENDA SOFTENS THE BLOW I have a feeling the Pedro Neto exit rumours may eventually become reality. Ideally, Neto should stay. Selling him would remove valuable experience, proven Premier League intensity and one of Chelsea’s most dangerous transition outlets. But we should also be honest about the player. On his day, Neto can finish brilliantly, deliver dangerous crosses and destroy space with his pace. The problem is that those moments have not always appeared consistently enough. His final-third decision-making—especially recognising and finding an off-ball runner—can still frustrate. And this is exactly why Geovany Quenda makes the possibility of losing Neto less frightening. Quenda already possesses two qualities that make Neto important: ⚡ Explosive off-ball pace and relentless work rate 🎯 A clean and powerful shooting technique But the exciting part is where Quenda could eventually surpass him. He plays with greater creative imagination in the final third. He can spot runners, disguise passes and combine technical quality with more thoughtful decision-making. He is also tactically flexible—comfortable holding the width, moving into the half-space and operating from either flank. His experience as both a winger and wing-back should offer Alonso several possibilities. Yes, he is still young. He will make mistakes and will need patience. But under Xabi Alonso’s guidance, Chelsea may have a huge gem capable of replacing several of Neto’s strengths while eventually offering even more creativity and tactical variety. So while I would prefer Neto to remain, Quenda is the reason I would not panic if Chelsea accepted a strong offer. Take a closer look at this lad. The talent is serious. Could Quenda eventually become an upgrade—or would selling Neto remove too much experience too soon? Vid cred: footballking via YouTube

‼️🚨🔵PRESSER🔵🚨‼️ 🎙 Enzo Maresca’s Full Post-Newcastle United Press Conference 🔹 Enzo Maresca on Chelsea’s performance: “After the first-half, they deserved to win the game, for sure, but after the second-half, we deserved to win the game. After the second goal was scored, we had three or four chances to win it.” ⚖️⚽ 🔹 Enzo Maresca on why the first-half was so bad: “The key for me was the goal we conceded. After three minutes, you concede a goal and the game goes in the direction they want 😓. We scored twice in the second-half and could have scored more goals. We adjusted something at half-time 🔄. It’s not easy to come back in this stadium.” 🏟️ 🔹 Enzo Maresca on James impact: “He was, once again, top performance 👏🏽. He played for an hour as a midfielder and for the last half an hour, he was as a full-back. We are happy for him.” 🔵💪🏽 🔹 Enzo Maresca on what he learned from this week: “We won against Everton, achieved a semi-final and drew with Newcastle which is always an important result. I’m happy with the reaction from the players.” 😊📈 🔹 Enzo Maresca on if they need experience at St. James’ Park: “Yeah, for sure, because they know better how to manage that sort of noise.” 🔊🏟️ 🔹 Enzo Maresca on second-half character: “For sure, in the first-half, there are things we can do better, but the character and togetherness in the second-half 💪🏽. It’s not easy with this noise and environment. Not many teams can do that.” 🔥 🔹 Enzo Maresca on if this shows the players are with him: “My last week has been good. We beat Everton, beat Cardiff and drew with Newcastle. In terms of results I’m happy.” 👍🏽🔵 🔹 Enzo Maresca on half-time team talk: “I could see from the bench that the plan we prepared was the right one 🎯. My message at half-time was to continue doing what we’re doing.” 🗣️ 🔹 Enzo Maresca on why he was booked: “I was complaining because the same foul was a yellow card for us 🟨 and they did exactly the same foul three or four times but it was no yellow card. So I asked the question and complained to the referee.” 🤦🏽‍♂️⚖️ #CFC | #Chelsea | #NEWCHE | #Interviews 📲 CFC_ChelseaFC via Telegram 📹 MightyBluesNews via Youtube

‍ ‼️🚨🔵PRESSER🔵🚨‼️ 🎙Enzo Maresca's Full Pre-Sunderland Press Conference - Part 1/2: 🔹Enzo Maresca: "We don't have any new injuries. Liam [Delap] took part of the session with the team yesterday for the first time, but won't be available. [Maybe] for the next one. He can be available for the Wolves cup tie." 🔹Enzo Maresca on Bringing youngsters through: "I said after the game [vs Ajax] that it was a special night for the club, for the fans, with so many young players. They are talented players. The main thing for me is to help them day by day get better and better. If you are able to improve players, you can improve the team. Again, try to help them understand the way we want them to play and also we have coaching staff with all of them after the session. We dedicate time to them to try and improve. They are young and they need to improve. For sure, if you want to improve the team, you need to improve the players." 🔹 Enzo Maresca on the temptation to play Estevao all the time: "Balance for me is quite easy. We have 24 or 25 players, good players, but only 11 can start. Since I joined the club, I have shown that we change players. When they don't play, they are not happy but they also know they can't play every game." 🔹Enzo Maresca on telling a youngster he is not featuring: "It's with Estevao, but it's almost with all of them - it doesn't matter about the age. If you say to Tosin, the oldest one, that he's not going to play, he's not happy. It's not about the age but they need to understand they can't play every game." 🔹Enzo Maresca on Sunderland challenge: "They showed since the season started that they are a very good team. They play together, they work together. They have the same points as us so they are showing how good they are doing. It's a Premier League game, and there is no easy game." 🔹Enzo Maresca on Regis Le Bris: "I spent one season with Leicester in the Championship and I love the Championship. I watched Sunderland since last season when the manager arrived. They play good football, they are physically strong, so I like the way they are doing things." #CFC | #Chelsea | #CHESUN | #Interviews 📲 CFC_ChelseaFC via Telegram

‼️🚨🔵 PRESSER 🔵🚨‼️ 🎙 Liam Rosenior’s Full Post-Arsenal Press Conference 🌀 Liam Rosenior on the game plan ⚙️ “We’ve had a lot to contend with in the last couple of days — a couple of fitness tests this morning. Our schedule has been incredible, so for the players to put in that energy, fight and spirit was pleasing. We got into the final third, but we didn’t have enough quality moments and didn’t take advantage.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on James & Neto 🚑 “Pedro and Reece both had small knocks and were in too much pain to be involved tonight.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on Estevão & Cole Palmer 🧠❤️ “For Estevão to go through what he has at 18 years old says everything about the character I want in this team. With Cole, we have to take care of him and make sure he’s right for the whole season.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on the defeat 😔 “I’m extremely disappointed every time we lose. There were aspects of the game I was happy with, but you could see how devastated the lads were — we genuinely believed we could turn it around. There were moments there for us. I’m hurting, but we have to move on.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on how the game unfolded 🔄 “You can come away from home, press high and go 2–0 down. I brought Cole and Estevão on around 60 minutes and the game opened up. There was a feeling in the stadium that the tie could turn, but it didn’t happen. Their goal ultimately comes when we were throwing the kitchen sink at it.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on injuries affecting the setup 🧩 “The availability of your players always affects the system. Against West Ham we ran until the 97th minute trying to come back from 2–0 down, then the emotions from Napoli — all of that has to be taken into account.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on pundit criticism 🎙️ “I’ve been a pundit — it’s easy in hindsight. If I go and attack the game and press really high, people will ask what I’m doing.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on reacting to setbacks 🔥 “Losing is not what we wanted. We’ve played eight games in less than a month since I came in. The learning, spirit, togetherness and fight are there. Now I need to see what we look like after a setback. We’ve got a difficult game at Wolves and we’ll learn more about ourselves.” 🌀 Liam Rosenior on the overall performance 👏 “We can’t talk about how well the game plan went because the result didn’t go our way. But not many teams come here and put in the performance we did tonight.” #CFC | #Chelsea | #CarabaoCup | #Interviews 📲 CFC_ChelseaFC via Telegram 🎥 Beanyman sports via YouTube
