#Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev: Russian energy infrastructure is being destroyed and taken out of operation. Russia is no longer able to supply all of its traditional partners with sufficient gas and oil. We should not abandon the green agenda, but at the same time European banks should reconsider their decision so that oil and gas infrastructure projects can once again receive investment. If that happens, Azerbaijan will be able to significantly increase its exports of natural gas and oil to #Europe, including #Germany.

🇷🇺 The spring conscription period in #Russia has ended – 141,000 conscripts have been drafted into the Russian Armed Forces, according to the Ministry of Defense. "The majority of conscripts have been assigned to training units and military units, where they will learn modern military equipment and acquire a military specialty," the ministry stated. Either we renege on these promises—and that's impossible. In my view, that would be the worst decision for everyone. Or we acknowledge that the process takes time. It could be called something else, but we're talking about membership in the European Union without voting rights in its institutions, yet with such close integration with the EU that full membership would then be the next logical step."
