She asked a legitimate question. A South African minister publicly labelled Nigerians as drug dealers, and a Nigerian journalist asked for accountability. Instead of answering, suddenly the question was “disrespectful” and she was threatened with being kicked out. At this point, I genuinely believe some South Africans are simply intimidated by Nigerians. The hostility is becoming irrational. You cannot publicly stereotype an entire nationality and then become offended when a Nigerian has the audacity to question you. She asked a question. If the statement was defensible, defend it. Threats and intimidation are not answers.

Something audacious just happened. Restaurant owners in Bristol please take note of these faces and change your billing methods. The restaurant owner was visibly devastated. These were Western Europeans. To make it worse, the owner said the UK police wouldn’t even attend unless the bill exceeded £2,000. Imagine running a small business and being told theft only matters when it reaches a certain price tag. These were men and women dressed to impress, designer outfits, cosmetic enhancements, yet comfortable stealing from someone whose livelihood depends on that table being paid for. It was ugly.
