I still think it was the right call, but Trump traded the Midterms for 2028. If he did nothing about Iran, we’d be having a conversation next year about “why didn’t Trump do anything about Iran” and I think he made a calculated decision to let the Dems potentially get the house and senate, fuck around for 2 years, and get a 6 year executive. Only time will tell if it was the right decision, but it’s clearly why we lost last night.
