True/False Film Fest is always so funny because you’ll have, like, ELUCID performing before a movie and nobody in the audience knows who he is. Feels bad.

Chase Infiniti is part of a K-pop dance cover group called Duple. They’re based in Chicago and have been making videos for years. Here’s one of NewJeans’ “OMG” where she’s Hanni. They also released a video as recent as two weeks ago for VIVIZ’s “La La Love Me”

RIP Tony Rayns. Every cinephile encounters his writing at some point, and it’s shocking how his reviews/blurbs are some of the only meaningful words you can find on countless Asian films. Here’s a clip from Seo Won-tae’s film on Tony where he says he loves 간장게장 (soy crab).

In 1999, Nirosta Steel played at the Gin Gin Bookstore and Gallery in Taipei, the only LGBT bookstore in Taiwan. This CD became the first queer album released in the country. One highlight is “Twinkle Angel”: gay 90s slowcore with lyrics based on descriptions for Japanese pornos.
