Fascinating. Audi's car configurator uses webrtc to stream the 3D view from some remote rendered service instead of using WebGL in the browser. Really want to know what lead to that engineering decision. The latency is awful and the render quality is quite low resolution.

I'm so in love with antirez' ds4. Patched some slop on it to get better streaming, but I can just install a pi extension on a 128GB mac and it manages everything for me. No need for mlx-lm, ollama or lm studio or finagling pi configs.

My oldest showed his game to his friends who said it's too hard. Instead of making it easier I was wondering how hard it is to have the agent build a really good visual assist mode and a practice mode where it respawns. I love that about agents.

I recorded Claude fix two MiniJinja issues itself. It's Rust (which it sucks at), in a code base not really set up for vibe coding and it still succeeds. Yes, it takes 30 minutes, but it's hands off. Usually I let this work alone and review later.

I'm often playing project manager with a coding agent and it's really nice. Mostly because it helps you bring structure to the thinking process. I got an agent to improve it via github->md->github sync and some tiny UX improvements in pi to fit my flow better.

Codex survives compaction quite well. Which means for massive refactors or "pass test suite" kind of situations looping can work. I tried it for the MiniJinja port over night and it works. Basically /loop tells pi a) continue until "condition" and b) tweak compaction while loop is active.

I'm sure we're all building beads now. I recorded a short demo of my shitty todos extension for Pi. It's modeled after Claude Code's task system with some neat UI integration. It's mostly for single-agent use, but it does support claiming of tasks.
