I recently made a big decision: dropped out of my PhD to build the AI chef, Replicater My passion has always been at the intersection of design engineering and food tech. In college, I built a 3D food-printing system, sold the technology, and that experience shaped my long-term obsession with reimagining how we cook I grew up watching a lot of sci-fi. My favorite was Star Trek, mainly because of that “magical box” that could make any food you wanted. As a kid, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. That box still doesn’t exist... so I decided to build it. About a month ago, I left everything I was doing to go all-in on making this childhood vision real Because the truth is: the kitchen hasn’t fundamentally changed in 100 years. We still cook with the same workflow we had in 1925: plan → shop → prep → cook → clean It’s the last major workflow in the home that hasn’t been automated. I’m working to change that I’m building the future of food A system where your kitchen adapts to your biology, your schedule, and your nutrition needs. If you’re passionate about food-tech, AI, hardware, nutrition, or the future of home automation, I’d love to connect Follow along to see the journey!
