This was the first time Michael Jackson appeared in public after being acquitted of all accusations in 2005, at the WMA (2006) 🥹❤️🩹 Feeling afraid and insecure about how the public would react after so many media attacks, when he stepped onto the stage he was met with loud applause, emotion, and love from thousands of fans around the world, reminding Michael of who he truly always was: the King of Pop.

For years, people thought the hit right before Eddie Van Halen’s guitar solo in “Beat It” was either a mistake or Van Halen tapping his guitar to cue the solo. In reality, it was Michael Jackson himself who created the sound by striking a drum case. He even received a credit for it as “drum case beater.”

💔 In 2001, Michael Jackson went through a very sad episode behind the scenes of You Rock My World. During the recording, John McClain and director Paul Hunter suggested that he use makeup to darken his skin and “fill in” his nose with putty. As soon as Michael heard this, he was deeply upset, locked himself in the bathroom, cried, and tore at his hair. Even so, he delivered a flawless performance.

In May 1992, Michael Jackson starred in his FINAL commercial for Pepsi during their historic partnership. In the campaign, Michael was seen singing “I’ll Be There” at the piano in an emotional duet with his younger self. The song, originally released by The Jackson 5 in 1970, received a softer and more nostalgic interpretation especially for the commercial. The ad was part of the Dangerous era and showcased a more sensitive and emotional side of the King of Pop, touching fans all around the world.

I love Paris Jackson’s new stories she’s so chill, just eating her apples and showing her day. In 2016, Sony bought out the Jackson family’s share, taking full ownership of the catalog, including the songs that had belonged to Famous Music. At first glance, I found no records indicating that Eminem later regained those rights.
