Joe Rogan asked RFK Jr. how it feels to be treated like a conspiracy theorist by his own family, and his response was to give a short lesson on Albert Camus’s The Plague, the Myth of Sisyphus, and the Stoics. I think the reason people are drawn to RFK Jr. is because he's a breath of fresh air. Compared to the routine bureaucrats you expect to run for president, he's actually an impressive person, with an impressive mind, that seems earnestly interested in ideas and the truth. He doesn't have to be your preferred candidate to see that. We have such unimpressive fiat elites, and it wears on people, so people like RFK Jr., whether they're good on policy and should be president, just sound better. We need a higher standard for these people. There are significant issues I disagree with RFK about, but this was a cool moment nonetheless. A major litmus test for any presidential candidate should be whether they are willing to talk with Joe Rogan for hours.

Before my generation even cared about Donald Trump politically, we were watching Thomas Massie and Ron Paul clips on YouTube, like this one from 2015, where Thomas Massie voted to force a debate on Obama sending troops to Iraq and Syria The reality is that they hate Massie because he has a longer track record of being more consistent and more America First than they are This also explains the generational divide on Massie, because younger generations have been able to track these votes with new media while everyone else was waiting to hear what Sean Hannity had to say about him

Wow. Tucker Carlson’s first question in the first presidential forum for the Republican primary was about Ukraine, exposing Tim Scott as a hawk. After, Tucker continued to drill on the issue of cluster bombs and whether the US should push for peace. You would not see this in the old debate format, where candidates could hide behind prepackaged platitudes with no serious follow-up questions. God Bless this man for leading with the most important political issue of our time.

The most important part of the CNN town hall tonight: “Do you want Ukraine to win this war?” “I don't think in terms of winning and losing. I think of getting it settled so we stop killing all these people.” Control of the Donbas is not our business, and it is not worth risking WWIII or nuclear war. This is the the obviously correct stance.
