This is a new kind of social media - one that incentivizes creation and sharing, not simply just consumption. Social is a crucial component to creativity: seeing others' creations inspires your own. Eventually I expect we will the emergence of something like Github for media creation, where people can have version control, build on others' work, and iterate on art masterpieces they are proud of. Remixing is the core feature, native to Sora, that makes this social experience possible. The Sora team really cooked on making it super easy to riff on other's ideas! Truly a "Greatness Cannot Be Planned" (h/t Kenneth Stanley Joel Lehman ) phenomenon, but at global scale.
