Rogers in these types of situations can be a cheat code for Chelsea. He didnt have many yesterday, but when he is under pressure, he has the skill and strength to roll players like this and start transitions with runs, and if not, win fouls. His Chelsea teammates clapped for a good action

Gittens' ball control is insane. Just plucks it out of the air just like that. No stress. Definitely has one of the best first touch in the team

Joao Pedro. Everyone knew when Gusto played it through that Joao was going to score.

Diego is legit better than all our wingers bar Estevao and even more physical. His dribbling isn't even his best quality. It's his crossing. He s so accurate with them like one of the best wingers in the world with them. On the money Everytime.

See the patterns against Milan, preseason of course but the way Caicedo is heavily involved in the build up, the combination play and progression through the middle. You can tell his presence in possession is massive. Hoping to see at least some of this.

Rosenior told Chalobah to tell Joao Pedro to take the space behind any CB that comes out to press Palmer or Enzo in the pockets, so Joao did it by staying offside initially and then occupying the space when a Leeds CB went out to press. The result? Goal

This play just shows what I was talking about concerning Morgan Rogers. He shows he wants the ball to feet but sees the space and attacks it with a run; Reece finds the pass, and Chelsea have a tap-in opportunity. Rogers is not just a ball to feet player

Enzo's spraying long balls live is a thing of beauty. Did a lot of what he did in the pivot when he first came and of course because he was deeper. Lots of switches and half space crosses from the left half space. More danger against low blocks

Caicedo's passing catalogue is absolutely nuts. He's a top 3 passer in this team.

Ball control, Speed, actually trickery and fast feet, can cut in and shoot and most importantly get past his man. I laugh when Garnacho is closed with Gittens on a talent level. It's not close. Injuries and adaptation have stopped him this year.

Noticed lots of sideways probing from Chelsea. Sociedad had a good shape but we need more movement in the final third. Joao making some but we need much more because its a midblock were playing against.

Eden Hazard the master of the Half turn. Once he got in front of you. Its over The greatest dribbler in premier league history. No one comes close. Arguably only Messi bettered him in dribbling efficiency.

The way Rosenior uses his pivot was interesting. Very close in proximity, lots of bounce passes to draw out the press and open up passing lanes between the lines, and lots of one-touch passes to the 3rd man. Very good on the eye.

Lewis Hall is the dream. Get him and the rating of this window, nears and 8/9 over 10 with the current targets we have. An attacking one that can play in all areas of the pitch. Athleticism and technicality. Bring Cobham home.

See the positions Gusto is picking up. The same positions Maresca has been playing him and he's making these types of runs from inside. This exact chance he gave to Joao Pedro v Spurs. He just had to improve.

Colwill would be Xabi's missile launcher at the back in terms of ball progression; his ability to take Chelsea from back to front with his ball progression is crazy. He should very much be on the flight to the USA because he's the best they have

Another example of Xabi Alonso's team rotations. Palmer brings it forward in the RHS, Gusto wide; they rotate Palmer wide and Gusto inverted. Palmer is in a position for a 1v1 take-on, doesn't receive it in a way to go 1v1 and passes back; Acheampong makes an inside dart to the RHS. Central overload with Rogers, Gusto and Josh in and around the same area. Notice Chavarria, instead of pulling wide, stays inside for counterpressing purposes, and Chelsea are applying minimum width, no width on the left. Enzo plays a wonderful through ball, and Josh gets on to it. Robinson didn't know who to mark. Central attacking prioritized.
