Such claims are reckless and lack any factual basis. The fundamental question, however, is this: does that give Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the right to attack a sovereign state that is hosting negotiations to discuss a paper presented by the United States? What has occurred is not only a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar, but also an outright undermining of the entire negotiations and a direct obstruction of American efforts to bring about stability. It is deeply ironic that this attack was directed at a state which hosts the U.S. Central Command and has never once contemplated overstepping its responsible role or compromising its principles. The minimum standards of ethics have been disregarded in this action, and we cannot find words strong enough to express the magnitude of anger and condemnation at this flagrant assault, which can only be described, in every sense of the term, as state terrorism.” #MOFAQatar
