With TM Revolution being the current topic, Reminding everyone of Thunderbolt Fantasy, a wuxia puppet series by Gen Urobuchi with Sawano doing the music, in which he sings the OPs AND plays a character in the very show itself, starting in its 2nd season. It vehemently rocks.

Even after his words from that last ep, Iskandar ropes me back him into liking him a ton through his relationship with Waver. This episode is just full of great moments between Master and Servant.

This is a very educational show, seriously.

In the midst of an exciting battle, we get this pretty cute breather of a scene between Atra and Kudelia. They make for a nice pair.

With a title like Samurai Troopers, I seriously didn't expect to see a opening with this much brutality onscreen.

I love it when my mecha look attractive, but something about this feels...off in a way.

I'm actually floored with this scene, Bravern deadass went there, pent up gay sexual tension and all.

This is the where all the tears and bawling kicked in on rewatch. The indirect reunion and that long awaited realization between 86's main protagonists. The borders fading away is already a fantastic visual flair, and to top it, maybe the greatest use of the Sawano drop to date.

The inevitable drawback of mechas using Pile Bunkers. Always best to have an ejectable option.
