Excited to announce that I have taken on the role of Vice Chair of Academic Affairs in the Department of Medical Oncology & Experimental Therapeutics at City of Hope. Candidly, in my 17 years at this great institution, I’ve been reluctant to take on roles in leadership. Why? Well, I’ve just been so happy doing what I’m doing - seeing patients, doing research & working with phenomenal trainees and junior faculty. I view this new role as an opportunity for me to build on that third area of focus — my goal is to materialize the vision that each one of our faculty members has for their own career. I welcome any & all advice on how to accomplish this!
