IRAN OFFICIALLY WITHDRAWS FROM THE ISLAMABAD MOU Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi announced that Tehran has suspended all of its commitments under the Memorandum of Understanding with the United States. “The United States violated and suspended all of its commitments. We have therefore suspended ours as well and are no longer implementing them,” he said. Gharibabadi added that Iran is now focused entirely on defending the country, accusing Washington of launching “aggressive actions” in direct violation of the agreement. “The path before us is the decisive defense of our country and confronting the aggressors,” he said.
