Okay, but the first thing I noticed was the void particles and the droning Abyss ambience.

Also, it's not killing the Dreamers that matters here. It seems to be specifically watching the cutscene where the Black Egg door breaks open. As long as you never see this in your playthrough, the shortened versions of these ending cutscenes should play. Lore implications?

Here's the Hornet cocoon breaking animation in slow motion. You can see a black shadow of Hornet's body in a fetal position that disintegrates into black particles that fall to the ground. Doesn't seem to act like void, but it's still very weird.

Here's the Embrace the Void ending with a cut to remove the scene with Hornet and the Hollow Knight. Since you can clear p5 without destroying the Dreamers, it was always odd that the door was suddenly unlocked in these cutscenes.

Here's the Delicate Flower ending cut short. The audio cutout is pretty jarring here. This is a pretty rare ending to get, so I guess TC wasn't too worried about it.

There's also a display that lets you look at a few of the room in the game with an unlocked camera. Cool stuff!
