Anyone from outside Gaza that feels entitled to message me and say don’t post certain things is getting blocked. Stop messaging me from your comfort zone, this is our reality. You have no say in this. If our suffering makes you uncomfortable, imagine how it makes us feel.

Israel’s war isn’t just affecting us as a people in Gaza, it’s a war on every living and breathing thing in the Gaza Strip. Our people, our land and water, our entire environment, our homes, our animals and birds, our ocean, our memories, our streets and favorite places and everything that we love about Gaza. It’s affecting our physical and mental health. We are really suffering and I wish someone would stop this genocide. All those people you see who were forcibly displaced and had to walk for 5 or more hours to go south and leave their homes behind are suffering. Some of them are elders who couldn’t walk, and have already witnessed the ethnic cleansing during the 1948 Nakba, and were forcibly expelled from their homes in northern Palestine to Gaza. This is a genocide. This is ethnic cleansing. We deserve a better life. Ceasefire now

All these kids just lost their parents after an Israeli air strike on their house. They are originally from Gaza city, and they evacuated to the middle area to be safe, but last night at 2 am the house they were in was targeted. The boy in the last video was injured after an air strike on the school him and his family were sheltering in. He is in pain and he is asking for a bed. He doesn’t want to be on the floor. I’m honoured to be given the communicator award of the year. I’m disappointed that I wasn’t able to attend due to the Israeli blockade that limits our freedom of movement. I still have to worry about my life and well being under the ongoing genocide. I couldn’t even watch the ceremony online properly due to the blockade of internet that left us without connections for a week now. Thanks to my dear friend Laila Mokhiber for travelling to receive the award on my behalf.
