What happened when Zak Brown took the stand in the $20.7m legal battle between McLaren and four-time IndyCar champion Alex Palou. The McLaren boss left the team’s F1 Constructors’ Championship celebrations early to fly back to London’s High Court and give evidence, claiming that Palou had left McLaren “in crisis” when he reneged on a contract with the IndyCar team. Palou admits breaching the contract but claims that the costs are “vastly inflated”. The case continues.
