Everything I am today is because of Shri Dhirubhai Ambani. It was only because of his faith in me that I could achieve the unimaginable. Today, on his death anniversary, remembering him and feeling extremely nostalgic about the time spent with him. Many of those memories continue to offer valuable lessons even today. Through this series, I will be sharing some of those fond moments, conversations, and insights. This instance from Jamnagar is a reminder of how Dhirubhai always encouraged those around him to think beyond targets, beyond limitations, and beyond what seemed possible. Heartbreaking and concerning visuals from outskirts of Gir. Spotted deers were seen eating plastic trash, which pose a severe threat not just to them, but to the Asiatic Lions that prey on them. The toxic cycle is entering the food chain. Tourists need to be highly responsible and stop dumping any waste in and around sanctuaries! The Government and forest authorities should impose stricter rules for a plastic free environment for the wildlife in Gir. We need to own the responsibility to save the wildlife. To me, Dhirubhai Ambani was everything. On his birth anniversary today, if I have to narrate him in brief, I can only say: Dhirubhai Ambani is न भूतो न भविष्यति. No one has ever been born like him in the past, nor will anyone be like him in the future. He lives on through his indelible mark on the equity culture of the country which he pioneered by encouraging ordinary citizens to invest in the stock market.
