Adam Silver answers Pablo Torre's question regarding the growing concern that wealthy individuals and entities are using the approval of the NBA to purchase credibility in the eyes of the public (meaning, fans), and whether he plans on changing anything about the due diligence process because of recent events (Mark Walter and Steve Ballmer).

Jaime Jaquez Jr. on being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks: "You know, I was told that you're not really in the NBA until you get traded. So this is, I guess, my 'Welcome to the NBA', 'Welcome to Milwaukee'. You know, I've been doing my best to get acclimated within the community. Go around town, go to different restaurants, meet different people. Every time I take my dog on a walk, I get people, you know, walking out and saying, "Go Bucks! Go Bucks!", so I feel a lot of love here, and I really appreciate the city embracing. You know, myself, you know, Tyler (Herro), Kel'el (Ware), and Kas (Kasparas Jakučionis). We're all really happy to be here and just, you know, doing what we can to make our mark here.

Charles Barkley: "I think we need to all pray for Wemby." Kenny Smith: "Why?" Barkley: "Because he can't play too many minutes, they are gonna kill him out there." Smith: "You're joking." Barkley: "I'm damn sure joking 'cause you guys -- these people, they are pissing me off. I'm watching the whole games. They (OKC) ain't playing dirty, and I'm like: 'These are some of the softest fouls I've ever seen in my life' You got these clowns on TV talking about: "They are gonna hurt poor Wemby." I was like: 'Hurt him? Are you really kidding, man?' It drives me crazy watching these shows".

JJ Redick talks about racism: “My parents are the most empathetic allies you could ever have. That’s the environment I grew up in. But some of the people I was around thought differently. The area I grew up in was different. There’s stands with Confederate flags everywhere. I was always aware of this shit” Via The Pivot Podcast - Pivot Podcast

Victor Wembanyama when asked in French about what needs to happen to stop being a reactionary team who only finds solutions after running into problems "Definitely. I completely agree. I think it's due to both our lack of experience and our youth, especially since we're playing against experienced teams. To me, the two best examples are Minnesota and New York. They understand how fortunate they are to be in the Finals, and they know it's not guaranteed they'll ever get another chance like this. As for us, we're kind of like spoiled kids. For some of us, it's our first season-or one of our first seasons -and we're already in the Finals. We don't fully realize it yet. And to me, the team that appreciates the position we're in the most will be the one that wins." Via the Redditor u/Jec1027:

Draymond Green asks Deni Avdija what it's like to be the greatest player to come from Israel, and what it means to him. Omri Casspi received huge shoutouts from both Deni and Draymond (who also played with Omri on the Warriors). Draymond: "Omri is my brother." Deni: "It means a lot. Like, I never knew that's like a country so small, you know, that where I'm from. When you look at the journey and everything that you've been through, coming to a point that you're an All-Star. You know, it wasn't on - it wasn't on my bingo card, I'll be honest with you. Like it's not that I didn't believe in myself, but when you're coming from a different country, different mindset, into the big league, you don't really -- I just went day by day. I never thought I would be where I'm at. And having the experience. You know, the whole country that loves basketball, to see that a kid that played for Maccabi (Tel-Aviv), growing up into that journey that everybody - I feel like Israel, the whole country is watching every game since I was like what? 18, 19? And every morning, like, people waking up at 3:00, 4:00 AM, and they watch me play, and they watching me struggle, and they watch me go scoreless for 10 games straight, and they watch me go to the bench, and not playing. And then, start becoming a better player, and then overcome all the obstacles to become an All-Star, and whoever you thought you're gonna be - it's an unbelievable journey for me, first, but obviously for the crowd that is with me, cause I feel like I do play with the whole country behind me. And being there, especially in rough times nowadays, that you own that stage, and everybody's watching you - is like the best blessing I could have had. And you know, that's obviously why we play that sport, you know, because it connects people together, so that's awesome... I go in the street and people like, 'man, you ruined my nights, man. Like, I was waking up to work with like eye bags or whatever you call it, underneath. I was tired, but you know? It was worth it.' - and to hear people say it to you on the street it's sometimes like it's the best thing you can hear. You know what I'm saying? Cause people actually sacrifice from their sleep to go watch you play, you know, and it's just, you know, I can't really have the words to describe it. I wish it would stay forever, but you're only getting older" Via The Draymond Green Show דריימונד גרין שואל את דני אבדיה איך זה מרגיש להיות השחקן הגדול ביותר שיצא מישראל, ומה המשמעות של זה עבורו.

Alperen Sengun on Deni Avdija (the relations between Turkey and Israel are on all-time low): "You know, I think that those stuff are a lot bigger than ours. We just going to represent our country, here, you know - the best we can. Deni is the same harder worker (as me). You know, great guy, great person. One of my good friends in this league. And like I said those stuff are a lot bigger than our stuff. We are just here doing what we love, and other stuff is out of our control. And hopefully, you know, of course basketball is the thing hopefully bring everyone love, and stay together - that's what we are here for. And like I said, the other stuff is out of our control, and hopefully, you know, it's all got into peace in all world, and that's all we wanted." Via Yoav Modai
