As promised here's how I connect to my MacBook Pro even when it's closed. I added a command called prevent-sleep. Close the lid, and the Mac keeps running. My iPad stays connected the whole time. Great way to run agents on your Mac with the lid shut. Demo and script 👇

Here’s how I wake my Mac up remotely from my iPhone and connect in from anywhere. This is new in Astropad Workbench 1.1. We’ve made sleep handling much smarter. Small thing, but very useful when you need to check on a machine fast.

The iPad's external display support is underrated. I connected my iPad to a Studio Display and ran Workbench. Now my headless Mac mini (back in Minneapolis) is running full-screen on a 27" display in Ohio. Remote Mac on a Studio Display through an iPad. Pretty wild. 🤯

I use Workbench all the time to manage my Macs remotely from my iPad One of my favorite features is Unified Desktop. It combines all of my Mac displays into one view, so I can see everything instantly when I'm away from my desk. Quick demo:
