May 11, 2014 — Mother’s Day. Just days after losing his mom, Marty St. Louis scored and poured his heart onto the ice in one of the most emotional moments of that Stanley Cup run for the New York Rangers. Hockey felt bigger than the game that night. I was there with my dad. My mom had passed too, and he took me to this game. It was incredibly emotional, and even now, I can still feel the emotion from this goal every time I watch it. 💙 #NYR #StanleyCup #MothersDay

A split-second play which turned into one of hockey’s most infamous moments. The #NYR aren’t that team anymore. Windows close. That’s just reality of sports. Every team gets a shot, some come close, some win. But Artemi Panarin was the best free-agent signing in Rangers history, and moments like this are the ones I’ll always hold onto. Not sure how much longer he’ll be here — but I loved every second of him as a Ranger. Take me back to these vibes.

May 13, 2015 The New York Rangers defeat the Capitals in 7 games to move onto the ECF for the second consecutive year. “Drive by Girardi and a save, rebound SCORE! Stepan in overtime, the Rangers move onto Tampa!” What a moment. Missing Zuccarello in the ECF really hurt us. We must never forget: we are the United States of America. On Oct. 7, 2001, the Rangers & Sabres opened the first pro game since 9/11, paying tribute to New York’s courage, resilience, and unity.
