Kenya must stop pretending that Somali rearmament is a distant matter. How can any serious nation watch a neighbour rebuild its army while the greater part of that neighbour’s population still sits inside our borders? The danger is not theoretical. A state that has not first gathered its own people and stabilised its own house has no right to arm itself beside us. Every weapon collected while their population remains here is a potential threat to our peace. Kenya cannot continue in softness. The question is no longer diplomatic courtesy ,it is national survival. Either we demand clarity and control now, or we will pay later in blood and instability. The choice is still ours, but not for long.

When I become the president of Kenya,Mount Kilimanjaro shall stand under the Kenyan flag. Kismayo shall return to its proper place within our borders. The source of the Nile shall be secured as Kenyan soil. Uganda, too small and too weak to sustain itself as a true nation, will cease its separate existence and be joined with us in one greater whole. No longer shall artificial borders keep what is ours divided. The nation will take what geography, history, and power demand.

This is not just a song. It is the unfolding of how things were done among the Kikuyu and the roles that ordered the life of the people. The aturi were the blacksmiths who turned ore into the tools and the weapons the community required. The ethaga were the seekers who read the rain and the season so that the planting and the harvest could be timed. Each role was not a title. It was a function that kept the group alive on its own ground. The song that names them is not entertainment. It is the record of a system that existed before the interruption.

The people of Nyeri do not need to beg this nation for development, and they do not need to answer soft questions about a dual carriageway from Nairobi to their hills. Stop comparing. Stop asking why that road was built as if it were a favour. Understand this: we fought for this country. Our fathers were herded, broken, and killed; our women violated under a colonial machine that treated this soil as a workshop of terror. By that blood alone we hold a claim the ledger of tenders cannot erase. What we receive is not charity. It is partial repayment on a debt still unpaid.

The destruction of the Aberdare Forest is not merely an attack on trees or Mother Nature; it is an assault on our roots as Kikuyu's, our history, and the suffering of our ancestors. These forests witnessed the struggles of our grandfathers, who were bombed during the war of independence. They are sacred grounds, carrying memories of sacrifice, resistance, and the fight for freedom. Watching them being destroyed feels like a spiritual wound, as though we are erasing a part of our very identity.

Aguthi was a concentration camp in Nyeri-brutal, deliberate, and built to break a people. That ground later became Kangubiri Senior School. The conversion did not wash the soil clean. It only covered it.Then came the small lie: that Kangubiri was born from the black man’s failure to pronounce “can go free.” A childish story. A colonial comfort. As if our place names were only the stammer of a prisoner begging for exit. The truth is harder and older. That land was a meeting point of the people of Mungaria. A great mufiri tree stood there. From that tree and that gathering the name arose-not from English mercy, not from a misheard phrase, but from our own ground and our own tongue. They rewrote the camp into a school and the name into a joke so that memory would soften. It will not. Aguthi was brutality. Kangubiri is the mubiri and the people who met beneath it. The lie ends when we speak the truth without fear.
