😳 😳🔥A 21-year-old Rwandan artist, Elvin Cena Many people didn’t know this… the song “Let Me Be” that went viral across platforms like TikTok and YouTube the owner is a “ A Rwandan 🇷🇼” young man.😂🔥 The track has now surpassed 13 million views, and it has even made it onto trending charts in both Europe and Africa. He is currently continuing his studies in France. Elvin Cena (Benimana Hervé) is a Rwandan music artist, singer, and record producer, born and raised in Kigali. Known for his Afrobeats sound, he’s part of a new wave of Rwandan talent making global noise. Cena shared that he originally wrote and produced the song himself, but at first, he wasn’t satisfied with the final result so he put it aside. Now look at the impact it’s making. This is just the beginning. 🇷🇼🌍

12 HOURS ( 8:00 PM- 8:00 AM ) NIGHT WALK CHALLENGE: 🫂🕯️. ——————————————— 🕯️This year, I challenged myself to do something different. I committed myself to a 12-hour night walk from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM as a personal tribute to innocent Tutsi lives lost in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. 🕯️While it’s often said that content creators disappear during critical moments like the Commemoration Week, this time; we showed up. ✊🏿This walk, for me, was a symbol of honor but again it was more than that. It was also a walk of gratitude to the RPA/Inkotanyi, who stopped the genocide and restored peace in our country. I chose to walk through the night to show how safe this country has become thanks to their sacrifice and vision. 🚏My route was: Nyarutarama – Gisozi – Downtown – Nyamirambo – Kimisagara – Nyabugogo – Norvège/Nyarugenge – Rebero – Remera. 🕯️The most challenging part? Nyabugogo to Rebero. It was hilly, fearsome,rainy, and cold. I had to pause a bit but even that discomfort made me reflect. It reminded me of the harsh conditions survivors endured, especially during nights like those, with no shelter, no warmth just fear and uncertainty. 🚏Along the way, I meditated deeply on the value of peace, unity, and harmony our president Paul Kagame tells us every time . I greeted security personnel who watched over the city they were kind and welcoming. It affirmed just how far we’ve come as a nation. ✊🏿🇷🇼Most importantly, I was reminded that only Rwandans can rebuild Rwanda. No outsider did this for us. Rwandans chose reconciliation. Rwandans chose to rise.This walk taught me more than I expected. 🗓️Same challenge, same walk next year.#Kwibuka31 #InHonorOfTheTutsi

I don’t want to call this a gender balance issue , I see it as a personal responsibility matter. Regardless of who made the mistake, Rwanda is a lawful country. Discipline and justice belong to institutions, not individuals. We call for immediate intervention from Rwanda National Police and Rwanda Investigation Bureau for this public concern, so this becomes a lesson that accountability must be handled lawfully. Dear mothers, we love and respect you but publicly humiliating a man in front of his children & everyone is not fair and this is vice versa! Every human deserves dignity !

Every year, billions of dollars are sent in as foreign aid and development assistance to Africa , Why Africa ? 🔑The Aid Dependency Syndrome is almost to its last days in Africa! Standing Brave Africans like President Kagame of Rwanda are on it ! 🛟The aid we are introduced to , accounts for creating dependency on aid instead of fostering local economic growth, distorting market mechanisms, undermining local businesses, causing inflation, contributing to political instability. 🛟Do you know that ; Most of the times, aid is directed towards projects that benefit the donor country more than the recipient, such as tying aid to purchasing goods from the donor nation. 🛟Most of foreign aid do not address the root causes of the crisis, do you know why ? That’s the password! 🛟Donors do not want to adopt aid delivery mechanisms that promote ownership, transparency and stakeholders participation in development process , a big concern hidden from our sight! ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿 To overcome foreign aid dependency, I think Africas , can focus on 🛃Investing in sectors like manufacturing, technology, and services, creating a broader economic base and reducing vulnerability to price fluctuations in raw materials. 🛃Implement efficient tax systems to maximize domestic revenue collection, reducing dependence on foreign aid. 🛃Implement transparent and accountable governance practices to attract investment, build trust with donors, and effectively utilize aid funds. 🛃Invest in education and healthcare to build a skilled workforce capable of driving innovation and economic growth. 🛃Promote intra-African trade by strengthening regional economic blocs, creating a larger market for African goods and services. 🛃So many not to mention Fellow Africans wake up ! ✊🏿
