It’s about the people who believed in it.” – Mickey Hart This year, we recognized the Grateful Dead’s Bobby Weir, Mickey Hart, Phil Lesh, Jerry Garcia and Bill Kreutzmann as our #PersonsoftheYear honorees for their amazing philanthropy and musical legacy. Mickey and Bobby accepted the honor along with family members of Jerry, Phil, and Bill, and spoke on the importance of community in music. It was a truly impactful night of music and raising funds for music professionals in need, including those affected by the fires in the Greater LA area. “My old pal Jerry used to say, ‘you get some, you give some back.’ And so we did.” – Bobby Weir
