This visual disturbs me. He is the head of a national party, yet look at how Amit Shah’s police handle him. Did the INDIA bloc protest? Or is it effectively dead? Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly asked why Pinarayi Vijayan was not being arrested. Yesterday, perhaps, he saw politics come full circle - Pinarayi being raided and the CPI(M) general secretary being dragged through the streets of Delhi. The AICC and V. D. Satheesan remain silent. Go back to the Deccan Herald case: the CPI(M) central committee had openly condemned the ED action and stood firmly against the so-called questioning of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Stalin, Kejriwal, Akhilesh, Tejashwi and others speak against the RSS, but where is the collective resistance? If the INDIA bloc is finished, India now needs a democratic front that will never compromise with or align alongside the RSS. Time for a real political struggle. #INDIABloc #DemocracyUnderAttack #OppositionUnity #StopPoliticalVendetta #EDPolitics #CPIM #CongressSilence #DMK #MKStalin

Assembly of lapses? 1. DGP Ravada Chandrasekhar entering the Niyamasabha itself is a procedural lapse. As the head of law and order, a DGP cannot casually enter inside the Niyamasabha. 2. The Governor repeatedly said “Kerala” instead of “Keralam” - even after the same Niyamasabha officially proposed and adopted the name Keralam. 3. Vande Mataram was sung twice before the policy statement for the first time. The Governor himself altered the programme and inserted his diktat, and the government obliged without any protest. If the two stanzas of Vande Mataram were to be sung in the Assembly, why could the government not include them in the first draft itself? Since when has the Governor become the legitimate authority deciding Assembly procedure? 4. After ten years, Keralam produces a policy statement without even a word of criticism against Narendra Modi. It perfectly tallies with CM Satheesan’s silence after the raids targeting Pinarayi Vijayan. A Chief Minister with no experience in governance, who once lit a lamp before Golwalkar, now appears afraid of the RSS. What a shame. #AssemblyOfLapses #Niyamasabha #Keralam #GovernorOverreach #AssemblyProcedure #VandeMataram #RSSPolitics #VDSatheesan #CongressRSS

This clipping demonstrates what the inner circles of Kerala’s political theatre have long said about G. Sudhakaran. G. Sudhakaran, this is not fair. Media persons can reach your house if you are willing to speak to them. When you lose the argument, don’t blame them for coming to your “house.” And the way Sudhakaran’s wife intervened and referred to the media as “third rate” should be strongly condemned. I am not surprised by the silence of the media, and I don’t blame them either. They simply amplify their masters’ voice. The media in Kerala have taken it upon themselves to repeatedly project that the CPI(M) is bad. The money flowing into Kerala for such campaigns comes from healthcare giants, including Blackstone-like groups. The new script they are pushing is clear. “CPI(M) is all bad, time for BJP instead.” This is the real agenda at play. #GSudhakaran
