Wow, this November snow has been coming strong! Total snow so far this month has reached 42.5", well above the average snow for November (35.6"). The most snow on record at MWOBS for the month of November is 86.6" (1968). Records date back to 1932.

A video of yesterday's avalanche in Tuckerman's Ravine captured by the Wildcat cam. In the top left corner, the snowboarder can be seen beginning to drop into the bowl. After the camera zooms, the snowboarder can be seen outrunning the avalanche. No one involved was injured.
