But told me he was meeting with “nobody.” I said tomorrow will be a big day at the court. “I guess so,” he responded. Would he give a sneak peak of decisions? “Nope,” he told me with a chuckle.

Comes after a grand jury rejected the attempt by federal prosecutors. “I think that anytime you're obstructing law enforcement and getting in the way of these sensitive operations, it's a very serious thing, and it probably is a crime. And, yeah, they probably should be indicted.”

Speaker Johnson says “we’ll look at” guaranteeing Dems a vote on ACA subsidies — which Thune said he’s offered — if Dems reopen the government. “If they will reopen the government we’ll look at that but that's not what they’re asking of us, they want us to guarantee an outcome and it cannot be done as I’ve just explained. We have to have time to process that.”

Quite the scene in the Capitol right now… Members of the Democratic Women’s Caucus marched through the Capitol and to Speaker Johnson’s office with Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva, demanding that she be sworn in. They have signs and chanted “swear her in” throughout the Capitol. “Swear me in, Speaker Johnson,” Grijalva said outside Johnson’s office.

As a group of House Dems stormed Speaker Johnson’s office demanding Adelita Grijalva be sworn in, Rep. Nanette Barragán (D-Calif.) was seen yelling at a USCP officer. She claimed to me after that the officer “grabbed her.” She said she plans to have a call with a USCP supervisor about it. Video of the incident below. “They should not be accosting members of Congress,” Barragán told me.
