Anthony Edwards took the opportunity to give huge props to Jaden McDaniels: I do want to just shout out Jaden McDaniels before I get outta here. He’s been phenomenal this whole playoff run and this series in particular. I think he’s like a +51 or something and only probably had 5 points, took 3 shots, in all 2 games. Don’t complain, keep guarding, keep picking up full court, and we wouldn’t be the team that we are today and the team that we was in the regular season…and hopefully we can keep him out there and he keeps playing like that man, because he’s the X-Factor of the team and everything he brings, we thank him so much.

You play 17 years you can go into this cycle…and they brought that excitement back. Like I’m a 15 year-old going to play out in the park or something. Do you regret helping Anthony Edwards’s development? Steve Kerr: (Laughs) I take very little credit, I take zero credit for developing him. He was gonna be great no matter what. I loved coaching him 2 summer in a row. It was fun getting to know him…feeling his charisma, his joy for the game, his work, he loves to stay after practice and shoot and talk trash with the guys. He’s a great chemistry player, the rest of the players enjoyed playing with him so much. #Warriors #Timberwolves

How will you remember this trip to Minneapolis? Steve Kerr: It was pretty crazy to be here for 4 straight days during all of these events. To witness everything firsthand, it was meaningful, very sad. I’m glad we were here, I’m glad we were able to see the people here in Minneapolis and try to help them forget by playing a couple basketball games, but it’s obviously gonna take a lot more than that. It’s a very resilient city, it’s a very tough situation, it’s sad. It’s sad being here. Last night was a really somber atmosphere, I thought tonight was better, it felt like fans were more into it, more enjoyable as far as taking in the game. Definitely a tough few days. #Timberwolves #Warriors

Niko Medved on the fans: I just refuse, and I have since I got here, I refuse to say that we can’t build this thing back. College basketball matters in the Twin Cities, it really does, it’s our job to make it matter. It’s games like this that start to get that going again. I love having the students rush the court, it’s supposed to be fun. You want them to come to the game and enjoy being there, rush the court, see us win. They go home and they had a blast, well you know what, they’re probably going to show up Friday too…and they’re probably going to bring their friends, I hope they do. I really appreciated the crowd so much. #Gophers

Dawn Plitzuweit on Lindsay Whalen: Lindsay is someone who I watched play a lot and certainly have just a tremendous amount of respect and so when she was coaching at Minnesota and I was coaching at South Dakota, we would sit together during recruiting periods and talk quite a bit and compete against each other in some closed scrimmage type of things. I just think she's someone who I have a lot of respect for, someone who I consider a friend. Someone who has built this program and did it as a player and certainly has done it as a coach and certainly we're very thankful for what she's done. We have her in the house today. I think she was here -- she was telling me she was coming, so I think that she was here. Was she here? So that's really, really important to us. #Gophers

Charles Barkley if he was Jason Kidd: I’m going to show them the weather in Minnesota this snow and say - you all don’t want to go back to this. It’s snowing in Minnesota… Which makes me wonder if Chuck made it outside, or just stayed inside restaurants. It’s been 50- 80 degrees when he’s been here!

Steve Kerr: Obviously we are the visitors here, we are the observers, this is not our city, but we know all those guys on the Timberwolves and to talk to them, talk to Chris Finch, and to hear what they’re feeling, what their families are feeling and to see literally up close, the people in the streets…the tragedy, knowing it right down the street from us, it was almost surreal. It was a really bizarre few days. We have a lot of empathy for the people here. We’re really hopeful that the protests here and nationwide will lead to a much better solution for immigration. It’s not like rooting out violent criminals, they’re taking 5 year old kindergartens and US Citizens and detaining people. Immigration is a problem that needs to be addressed, but it needs to be addressed by congress, legislatively. Not by military force in the streets, pulling people from their homes. #Timberwolves #Warriors
