P.J. Fleck on having fun regardless of taking heat for it: - That guy (Mark Coyle) back there allows me to be PJ Fleck. He allows me to be me. - I get paid to win football games. I also get paid to bring notoriety and hopefully a really, really positive, energetic way to the University of Minnesota and everything that we're about. - I get to be myself doing it. And I don't think you ever have to apologize for being yourself. - Crowd surfing, I’ve been doing that 14 years. You know why? When you're 0 and 9, 0 and 10, you've never won a game as a head coach. When you win, that's where that started at UMass 14 years ago. Anthony Edwards took the opportunity to give huge props to Jaden McDaniels: I do want to just shout out Jaden McDaniels before I get outta here. He’s been phenomenal this whole playoff run and this series in particular. I think he’s like a +51 or something and only probably had 5 points, took 3 shots, in all 2 games. Don’t complain, keep guarding, keep picking up full court, and we wouldn’t be the team that we are today and the team that we was in the regular season…and hopefully we can keep him out there and he keeps playing like that man, because he’s the X-Factor of the team and everything he brings, we thank him so much.

Mike Conley’s face just lit up when he was asked what KAT and Ant have taught him: The joy of this game. Having fun. You play 17 years you can go into this cycle…and they brought that excitement back. Like I’m a 15 year-old going to play out in the park or something. Anthony Edwards on what they need to get over the hump: We just need everything to be clicking at the right time. I think missing Donte is big for us, man, like he spreads the floor like no other. A series like this, where they just double teaming, like I would love to have Donte in my slot and just throwing it to him the entire time and shoot 20 threes.

How will you remember this trip to Minneapolis? Steve Kerr: It was pretty crazy to be here for 4 straight days during all of these events. To witness everything firsthand, it was meaningful, very sad. I’m glad we were here, I’m glad we were able to see the people here in Minneapolis and try to help them forget by playing a couple basketball games, but it’s obviously gonna take a lot more than that. It’s a very resilient city, it’s a very tough situation, it’s sad. It’s sad being here. Last night was a really somber atmosphere, I thought tonight was better, it felt like fans were more into it, more enjoyable as far as taking in the game. Definitely a tough few days. #Timberwolves #Warriors

Niko Medved on the fans: I just refuse, and I have since I got here, I refuse to say that we can’t build this thing back. College basketball matters in the Twin Cities, it really does, it’s our job to make it matter. It’s games like this that start to get that going again. I love having the students rush the court, it’s supposed to be fun. You want them to come to the game and enjoy being there, rush the court, see us win. They go home and they had a blast, well you know what, they’re probably going to show up Friday too…and they’re probably going to bring their friends, I hope they do. I really appreciated the crowd so much. #Gophers
