I came to Katsina on the same day the Nigerian Army rescued the wife of Rtd. Rabe. I've been staying at Hillside Hotel since then. For anyone familiar with the hotel, you know that almost every aircraft, commercial or military heading south passes directly overhead. For the past one week, I’ve been seeing multiple sorties of TB-2 drones and TAI ATAK helicopters going in and out regularly. Right at Kastina Steel Rolling Mill you will surely see columns of military vehicles going and coming back. This clearly indicates a sustained major military operation is ongoing around the Musawa-Matazu axis. People i have spoken with said they haven’t seen this level of intensity for a long time. FEAR OF CARPET BOMBING! How precise was the attack on terrorists/bandits in the northwest, Sokoto to be precise? Look at this location where the bomb hits, and listen to the voices of the villagers and explain if they are terrorists or innocent poor people living in their community.
