Cause and direction of the Nepal disaster in a 3D map. A massive wave of ice, rocks, mud and floodwater travelled from the high mountains deep into Nepal, destroying roads, bridges, buildings and other infrastructure along the way. 1. Glacier / High Mountain - A lower part of a Himalayan glacier collapsed, sending huge amounts of ice and rock downhill. The exact cause is still being investigated. 2. Lhende Khola - The ice and rocks crashed into the Lhende Khola, triggering a massive flood filled with mud, rocks and debris. 3. Rasuwagadhi - The powerful surge reached Rasuwagadhi, around 20 km from the suspected collapse site, and entered Nepal. 4. Timure - The flood rushed toward Timure, sweeping away roads, bridges, buildings and vehicles. 5. Syapru Besi - The flood continued toward Syapru Besi, causing major damage to homes, roads, hydropower projects and other infrastructure. 6. Trishuli River - Carrying the flood wave deeper into the valley. 7. Further Downstream - The flood then affected areas including Nuwakot, Dhading, Chitwan, Gorkha, Tanahu and Nawalparasi East.

This is Jasleen Kaur. She is a perfect example of why some Indians are leaving India despite having family, friends and a comfortable life here. In India, she had house help, a personal car, quick delivery and strong family support. Still, she chose London. Not for money, but for quality of life. Better air. Safer streets. Freedom to step out without constantly worrying. Less concern about what people will say. Better work life balance and better health. This should worry India. Indians already pay taxes, yet deal with polluted air, broken roads, poor cleanliness and babu culture where basic work can take months with little accountability. And then we wonder why our talent is leaving. India is losing doctors, engineers, researchers, entrepreneurs and skilled professionals who could have built the country. People don't leave only for higher salaries. They leave when they believe their taxes and hard work can give them a better life elsewhere. I repeat, people are ready to pay higher taxes, but in return, they also want a better quality of life.

Dear Praful Pansheriya, You are the Health Minister of Gujarat. A 5 year old girl died after food poisoning in Surat, and suddenly the department woke up and started raiding restaurants and cafes. In just 24 hours: - 330 restaurants raided - 208 had hygiene related issues That is 63%. 63% is not a small number. It shows how badly food safety is being taken. There seems to be no fear of FSSAI or the health department. Unsafe food is being sold openly. ₹4,70,500 fine collected. But what after that? Will these restaurants simply pay the fine and continue doing the same thing tomorrow? I have posted multiple times about unhygienic practices by restaurants in Surat. Many others have raised the same concerns. But no one cares enough to take any action. MAKE GUJARAT SAFE.

These high-rise apartments are full of people, but also full of loneliness. Thousands of families live in high-rise buildings, but the person living next to you don't even care whether you are happy, sad, sick, alive or dead. This is a reality you can't ignore. Sometimes, it is better to live in a simple house type society where you can at least easily meet people, talk to neighbours, and kids can play outside. In many high-rises, kids barely even come out of their flats. Buy a small house somewhere on the ground, or move to a smaller town. Because the ultimate goal of life is to be happy.

Dear IRCTC, Dear Ashwini Vaishnaw, Date: 23 May 2026 Time: 5:15 AM Train: Golden Temple (12903) This is not a general coach. This is the condition of a sleeper coach. There was not even enough space to walk to the washroom. People were sleeping on the floor, near the doors, and everywhere possible. The TC came and saw everything, but did not say a single word. It looks like this has become normal for Indian Railways. I have sympathy for these passengers, but if Railways already know that general coach passengers are more, then why not add more general coaches? Why are sleeper coaches being turned into general coaches every day? For years, passengers have been raising the same issue, posting photos and videos, tagging officials, and still nothing changes. Indian Railways talks about modernization and new trains, but what about basic crowd management and passenger safety in normal trains? And please, do not ask me for the PNR. Asking for the PNR will not solve this issue. This is not one passenger’s problem. This is the daily reality of thousands of people.

FSSAI is useless and I seriously can’t trust them anymore. I bought 10 kg potatoes to prepare wafers for my family evening snack. Sliced them, boiled them, and dried them in the sun on the terrace. Once dried, they get stored for months without chemicals, and fry them whenever we want to eat.
