Our support against the heinous #DogMeatTrade in #China "This is a breeder "expert" from Guangxi Pastoral Dog and Tusong Dog Breeding Center in Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China. Here, he is disciplining a "naughty" puppy (in reality the puppy is scared, maybe injured). These dogs are most likely bred to be meat dogs, but these breeders sell them for any purpose: pets or meat dogs. As long as they get money, nothing else matters. This breeder calls the puppies as products." ➡️ Sharing from .We Are Not Food #BoycottChina Don't #VisitChina. China has no rules no piety no control no punishment

Our support for activists saving dogs from the heinous #DogMeatTrade in #Vietnam Sharing from Michael Kelly ➡️ "We sat down with the owner of one of the largest dog and cat slaughterhouses west of Hanoi. To gain access to places like this, I often have to build trust quickly. We did that by sitting down for tea and allowing the owner to explain his operation and why he runs it. Over the course of half an hour, we learned about the scale of the business, the methods of slaughter, and something I didn’t expect: the government had tried to shut him down before. Multiple times. So how was he still operating? According to the owner, he simply ignored the requests. This industry exists in a legal grey area. While dog and cat meat itself is not broadly prohibited, many operations rely on illegal practices to remain profitable, including the theft of pets for slaughter—something this particular slaughterhouse was implicated in. Although I was never able to determine the exact violation authorities cited, the owner made one thing clear: he had no intention of shutting down. Business was booming. As long as this industry remains profitable, operations like these will continue to exist, and many will have little hesitation engaging in illegal activities, such as pet theft, if it increases their profits. What can you do to help stop it? Share. Save. Sign petitions. Only through increased awareness and public pressure can we encourage local authorities to take stronger action against this industry." #EndDogMeatTrade #EndCatMeatTrade
