this scene has always made me really uncomfortable for some reason

well this feels OOC for Aang, and even Katara Aang giving special attention to Tenzin makes sense, but taking him and only him on trips just doesn't feel like something he'd do, and Katara definitely wouldn't allow that

this is where I see the mary sue complaint now whole season she was getting washed but suddenly she can airbend after having her bending taken away and can negate Amon's bloodbending with no waterbending but Aang couldnt negate Yakone, who was significantly weaker than Amon

then the Aaron reveal and how tense everything becomes from the moment he's on screen, the reveal that Jefferson is dead on 42 and on rewatch you can realize that after the braids comment, pretty much everything Aaron says is him fishing

outside of bloodbending this is the craziest shit someone has done with waterbending

fairly effective opening its kinda boring that for the intro its just different Avatars it also feels weird that Aang and Zuko took stolen land and was like "it's actually for EVERYONE now" instead of just giving back to who they stole it from and finding somewhere else
