Dear IPS Association This is the current SP of Churachandpur sometime back in the same town, trying to explain the rules of the law to the #Kukis. How brave and articulate! Such a fine IPS officer that we must all be proud of. Instead, there is a campaign to malign him by sections of Kuki communities. We should condemn all those who are indulging in such propaganda. And the law must take its course when it comes to organizations like ITLF which increasingly think and behave like they are the law unto themselves. Same for those who are threatening harm to the IPS officer - already his official residence has been burnt and his office ransacked. See videos. Exactly about the same time, six months back - this carefully planned violence (hatched long back by #Kukis - for more see the thread that I put in the comment section) started unfolding in Churachandpur, a town in the district by the same name in #Manipur There was only one thing that was the motive: "Drive away #Meiteis who had been living there and take control of the town and the rest of the hill districts where #Kukis are in majority"! Evidently to divide the hill and valley, and serve their demand for separate administration, a step towards their ultimate dream of a homeland nation spanning from Bangladesh in the West to Myanmar in the East. Chin territory of Myanmar and Mizoram in the south to Kachin in North Myanmar in the North. This is the only main truth!! Everything else is just side acts, drama and Kuki propaganda!! And who has suffered? Almost everybody living in Manipur and even outside - Meitei, Naga, Nepali, Tamil, Marwari, Bengalis, Punjabis; damn even they themselves - Kukis!
