This is your #Artemis Moon Minute! The Artemis II astronauts got their first look of the Orion Spacecraft spacecraft that they will fly around the Moon. Training continues for the crew at @NASA_Johnson’s Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory to prepare for splashdown. Back at Kennedy, the crew transport vehicles have arrived for ARCHIVED: NASA's Exploration Ground Systems teams to begin training to drive the astronauts on their final earth-bound journey before boarding the ARCHIVED: NASA_SLS rocket.

Getting up close and personal with the core stage ✨ The ARCHIVED: NASA_SLS core stage for NASA Artemis II has been moved into High Bay 2 at the Vehicle Assembly Building. The move allows engineers to have 360-access to the 212-foot-tall core stage as they prepare it for #Artemis II.

A very Florida welcome! 🐬 Earlier this week, we welcomed #Crew9 back to Earth after splashing down off the coast of Tallahassee, Florida. Onboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft were ARCHIVED NASA Astronauts Nick Hague, Suni Williams, Butch Wilmore, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov. They returned from t heir mission on International Space Station, where they completed important research and maintenance on the orbiting laboratory.

How does NASA plan to use resources on the surface of the Moon? One method is the ISRU Pilot Excavator, or IPEx! Designed by Kennedy’s Swamp Works team, the primary goal of IPEx is to dig up lunar soil, known as regolith, and transport it across the Moon’s surface.
