2/3 In the same briefing, scientists also presented new images from NASA’s PUNCH (Polarimeter to Unify the Corona and Heliosphere) mission, launched in March 2025. PUNCH’s four satellites which work together as a single “virtual instrument,” combining their images to reveal 3D information about solar eruptions as they move through space. PUNCH’s new images reveal huge solar eruptions, known as coronal mass ejections or CMEs, streaming out from the Sun and across the solar system. Check 'em out! 👇
