2023 was full circle for me, my family and Kogi Central. From the 5 gullies dug a day before the general elections in February 2023 to my motor accident on the 14th April 2023. My Senatorial victory affirmed by the Appeal Courts on the 31st of October 2023 to my swearing in on the 2nd of November 2023. Phew 😮💨 This video captures my 2023 story. Today, we completed the commissioning of 6 constituency offices across the 5 Local Governments in Kogi Central. 1 each in Adavi, Okene, Ogori/Magongo, Okehi and 2 in Ajakuta (Ganaja and Adogo). Offices would be operational from Monday the 8th of January 2024 from Monday to Friday and ran by 2 staff each... an administrator and a secretary. Rationale is to get governance close to the people. Sharing concerns, opinions and opportunities between my senatorial office and the people would be much easier and effective. Constituency projects shall also be monitored by these offices sending real time pictures of work progresses. Know that our offices are nonpartisan and accessible to everyone across all political parties and even those who don't believe in democracy. Being human is enough reason to connect. Ebiras, Ibos, Hausas, Fulanis, Yorubas and all ethnicities as long as they live and carry out businesses in Kogi Central, are of right to use our offices. So let's get working 💪🏼 Send your public opinions as I debate and make laws. Pour your infrastructural concerns so I can influence budgets and oversight the MDAs.
