📸 Sharp Astra Photo Editor ✨ Built with #Astra and Apple #SHARP, this @ThreeJS prototype turns a 2D photo into a 3D Gaussian splat scene .... blending 3D objects, like this typographic ring, that pass in front of and behind subjects using the inferred depth. ⭐

📷 Custom(AI) GoPro Ingestion Tool 🤖 Trying to streamline the import process for the 4 GoPro array that I am working with. Asked #Codex to help me find both the quickest as well as least friction ways to ingest footage. So I'm now able to plug them in to review and import or gracefully have them trickle ingest over wifi when plugged in and connected to the local WiFi. Additionally I am able to inspect the current firmware etc. OpenAI #AI #Prototype #Productivitiy #Tools #Astra GoPro #Workflow

📹 Video as Photo Assistant 📷 ( ( audio ) ) At this year’s Fleet Week, I mounted a GoPro to the hot shoe of my Sony A7RVI while shooting with a 400–800mm lens. After importing the footage, I asked Codex to build a viewer that synchronized photo bursts with the shutter sounds captured in the video. Using Three.js and the GoPro’s motion telemetry, we placed the footage in 3D and added horizon-leveling assistance. To approximate where each photo was framed, we added a rectangle sized from its focal length and image dimensions, with compensation for the GoPro’s stabilization. Makes me wish the camera had a built-in context camera so more of my capture sessions could be reviewed this way. It’s such a delight to build bespoke creative tools like this. #Codex #Astra OpenAI #Prototype Adobe Three.js #CreativeTools GoPro

Gave Claude a handful of phone photos and two tape measurements. It built an interactive Three.js model of the side yard so my plumber and electrician can see the run before they show up. Fully expecting the eye roll. Worth it. ⚡️🪠🙄

✏️ type-on-a-line 🔤 Putting type on a line in the early days of Illustrator felt so empowering. Doing this in #MixedReality makes the process feel so accessible {and fluid}. #AR #XR #VR #Quest3 #Accessible #Creativity #Typography

🌃 Quest3 ImageTracking* 🌌 For those who know, know… Image Tracking is another unsupported feature of the #Quest3 #MixedReality Passthrough that I managed to #bootstrap with #Netcode & #ARKit from my phone. Calibration remains the trickiest part. #AR #XR
